MULTI MEDIA CAMPAIGN- “LIFE NOW – Yes Life, No HIV”

The 6th phase of multi-media campaign – to promote Awareness, Compassion, Education and Support  on the issue of HIV and AIDS in the State was successfully conducted in all 11 districts starting from December 2016 till March 2017. The Campaign Tagline was “LIFE NOW – Yes Life, No HIV”- an educational campaign for the youth.

 

  • Objectives of the Multimedia Campaign:
  • Greater visibility for the issue of HIV & AIDS
  1. Encourage safe and responsible behavior among the youth
  2. Reduce the level of stigma and discrimination by demystifying HIV & AIDS
  3. Promote HIV & AIDS related services, specially HIV Testing
  4. Increase general awareness about HIV & AIDS

 

  • Target Group: 11 years to 30 years (Youth group)
  • Key components of the campaign- 2016-17:
  1. Phase-I: HIV education through social media campaign
  2. Phase –II: HIV education through youth campaign
  • Tools for Media Campaign – Facebook; Twitter; Instagram; Youtube; Whatsapp, Newspapers & Online Competition.
  • Life Now – Educational Campaign Tour: 11 Districts
